Weekend recap or I don't have a snazzy title

It seems like Friday night was forever ago and yet it feels as though I blinked and the weekend is over.
Nothing incredibly interesting happened this weekend and maybe that's why it feels like it dragged.
Friday night I met my husband at his grandma's place. She lives in a retirement/assisted living center. Her tv was broken and my husband was trying to fix the tv. No luck and she was going to call the cable company. we decided to go to grab a bite to eat. While we were eating a family came in and sat behind us. My husband motioned for me to turn around because the little girl was staring. She was less than a year old. I turned around and waved did the whole peek a boo thing. It was then that my husband noticed the whole family was signing. At one point my husband was laughing I turned around again to find the little girl looking at my husband as he ate his onion ring. I saw that she was signing "more" to him and that made my whole heart smile. I really need to go back to sign language classes.
Saturday my husband had a Boy Scout event a pancake breakfast and so after I woke up again ( the first time I woke was 4 a.m. and that was ridiculous so anyway I fell back to sleep and joined him a bit later. The setup was impressive the boys took your "sides" order, sat you, served you, and came back to clean up. I left him and he stayed to help the boys a bit more.
When he got home he saw that I was kind of blah and told me we should just stay in and relax. Basically, he tucked me in on the couch, told me to nap and told our bunnies I needed a day.
Saturday night was more of the same. We did watch Man on a Wire about the man who walked a tightrope between the World Trade Center buildings. He survived but it is kind of a sad story.
Sunday was church and also the weekend our church prepares a meal for the men's shelter. We cooked with a different group of people this time but still had a great time.
I left the meal prep when the new crew came in to go pick up our grocery order that we did online.  I don't like the way that sounds but still  I don't feel like we should apologize for doing online grocery shopping.  We are actually busy, and it saves on impulse purchases.  I dropped off the groceries and back to meal prep although it was just ending.
We came home and ordered pizza we are watching golf waiting for it end so we can watch the news.  Two years ago I gave up news for Lent.  I am not sure that is a good idea at this moment but I did deactivate FB, and delete the Pinterest app.  I didn't do it for Lent but I did it for peace of mind.  They can become such time sucks.  I may go back later but right now I needed a break and the only way I could do that was to deactivate because my willpower stinks.
Why is it that once 6:00 hits on Sunday night time flies?
