Saturday the dreaded day of memory and weather. Guess what? Not so bad. We had a family birthday party for my Brother in law. We spent a long time there and I guess that was okay. Before going to the party I basically sacked out on the couch watching tv but not exactly sure what I watched. Oh, we also paid bills. Bye Bye paycheck. After the party, my husband had his fantasy baseball draft. I went upstairs and watched what I wanted. I am not a fan of watching tv upstairs while my husband watches tv downstairs and plays on the computer. I never was allowed to do that when I was a kid we all hung out together in the family room or at least downstairs. Once in a while, though I think it is good just to decompress and have some quiet time.
Sunday Woke up, went to church. It marks a year since we started attending this church. We celebrated with my husband serving as one of the deacons.
Our Church does many community outreach events. This Sunday was no different. We welcomed Mark Charles he is a Navajo Christian writer and preacher he preached on the "temptation of Greatness" and came back in the afternoon for what is called a "Blanket Exercise" highly recommended. Here is a link to explain the Blanket Exercise. Blanket Exercise
It ran sort of long because we had such a wonderful turn out. So that meant dinner on the go again.
This is the last week before Spring Break. It will either drag or fly by.
