Thoughts from the week

It was a short work week well 4 days. Today seemed to move very slowly. Here are some thoughts I had during the week. I had really great thoughts this morning but I can’t drive and blog at the same time so some of those great thoughts left my head. Therefore this might be a short post.

  • Is it bad that the principal and business manager came to speak with me during my lunch about a couple “incident forms” I had filled out?
  • Is it even worse I was eating pretzel bites and cheese whiz when they came to visit me?
  • How am I going to help this child I babysit/tutor in the afternoon learn her spelling words ?
  • Why do I feel so responsible when she performs poorly on the tests?
  • Salad and cottage cheese just doesn’t cut it for lunch. I’m starving by 3:00 However pretzel bites and cheese whiz is also not acceptable.
  • I am constantly amazed at the students in our school. Some of them go above and beyond to make others feel included. Even when those people that they are trying to include can be difficult.
  • I think I need a fresh start in the fall and hopefully the right thing at the right time will turn up.
  • The classroom teacher is probably one of the best.
  • I think I’ve planned a summer road trip for a long weekend
  • My husband and I were invited to a special dinner. I’m wondering if we should have one of those “fancy” car services pick us up. I don’t like driving in the dark and my husband’s favorite brewing company will be there.  I don’t allow any driving if  any alcohol has been consumed.
Okay my brain is officially fried. My thoughts were a bit different this morning but you get the idea.
Also my word prediction on my phone sometimes makes me wonder.

  1. I don't think it's bad that they came to talk to you, but I do agree that you need a new start next year. (isn't that excellent teacher leaving?) I would relax and get a fancy car or Uber so no one has to worry about driving. I'm trying to figure out what to do about Ashley's wedding, maybe stay at a hotel near there and uber to and from? Not quite sure.

  2. And what is your husband's favorite brewery?
